TWO MONTHS LATER THEY UPPED THE RENT! We received a letter (from a new management team) saying that the upstairs units were nearly full and because it was more work for the management they were raising the monthly rent to $35 (nearly $40 with tax). Yet when I counted the empty units there were 21... 21 EMPTY UNITS - NOW 22!
The new proprietors of the property weren't particularly friendly, they seem a bit confused. I cleared out and got a better price, with more professional people, not too far away in a different storage.
What a con! Getting people to schlepp their stuff up to the second floor and then relying on them to just pay the extra rather than move out. Well, WE moved out on principle alone!
As described by another review, the new management (or old management, I was told both) raised their price more than 40% with little notice. They also cancelled the buy six get one free deal.
A very secure, clean, professional facility. The rates are affordable. Recommended for transient as well as long-term storage.
In all fairness, I would have given Storage Corral 5 stars EXCEPT for the fact that we moved all of our stuff up to the second floor with NO elevator because it was only $25 per month (and we thought we might need it for a year or two).
There is a couple of listings for this location but they are all the same great spot in Camp Verde. I was able to store my car here which no one else could do indoors. Super clean -- friendly.
I'd avoid this storage facility. I'd avoid anyone that raised their price over 40% in one month!
I just went and visited Storage Corral. This must be the cleanest safest place to store your car, personal stuff or whatever. They even have internet in some of the units and power. The drainage and fire suppression system are a real piece of mind. I think this is the only place around you can store a car indoors for a decent price. Ownership is local and involved with the business.
